Photography has been my hobby for quite some time, however since retirement in 2005 after 32 years of software development from a software company in Calgary, I have been able to spend a lot more time at it. My first CANON DSLR was a retirement present and I have been adding to it ever since.

Living in Southern Alberta by a lake gives me plenty of photo opportunities. From my house I can watch the Bald Eagles, Pelicans, Ospreys and other Hawks, Coyotes and Deer. Another favorite subject of mine is horses - luckily one of my friends breeds horses and gives me access to them for photography.

From 1987 - 1998 I spent a lot of time at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary. The sport of Skeleton (head first down the Bobsled Track) was introduced to women for the first time in history. 1993 I accomplished a second place finish in the Canadian Skeleton Championship.
